Are UN member states ready to embrace Responsibility to Prevent as a successor to Responsibility to Protect?

Following three important reviews of the UN’s role in peace and security, the President of the General Assembly convened a high-level thematic meeting on that topic in May. A range of other debates and discussions were organized prior to and around the meeting.
