American Security Policy in Africa

A new anthology with the title: "On Strategy". Strategic Theory and Contemporary African Armed Conflicts contains an article, written jointly by senior researcher Bjørn Møller (Defence and Security) and Major Nicolai Møller on “American Security Policy in Africa.”

It begins with a theoretical account of geopolitics as a discipline and the new American geostrategy. Against this background it looks more closely at the role the African continent has played for the United States, and its present status, with a view to better understand the role of the new Afria Command (AfriCom). The book is edited by Francois Vrey, Thomas Mandrup and Abel Esterhuyse og published by SUN MeDIA Stellenbosch, South Africa.
