DIIS researcher receives prestigious European film award

DIIS Senior Researcher and anthropologist, Sine Plambech, has just received one of Europe’s most prestigious film awards, 'The Golden Eye' at the Zurich International Film Festival. The documentary film HEARTBOUND is co-directed with director Janus Metz and is based on Sine Plambech's migration research. In the following year the film will be shown at several film festivals, at the UN and also at various universities in USA, Europe and Asia. HEARTBOUND has already been sold to the BBC and a number of international TV stations.
