The latestissue of the New Perspectives Quarterly, a publication of the Los Angeles-based Berggruen Institute of Governance, includes a thematic section on post-party governance.

The issue includes short contributions by Senior Researcher Fabrizio Tassinari, alongside among others, The Economist’s editor John Micklethwait and its business editor Adrian Wooldridge, former Italian prime minister Mario Monti, and former U.S. Treasury Secretary Larry Summers. Tassinari’s contribution focuses on the North-South divergence that has emerged in Europe in the wake of the EU’s sovereign-debt and banking crisis.

The themes of this contribution were presented during the past spring in Berlin in a session at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and to the senior staff at the office of the German President.
