Hot spot Belarus

Watch the recording here

Turmoil in Belarus after its presidential elections in August has made the country – previously a white spot on the Danish mental map – an international hot topic. What is the current situation on the ground? Should the protests be interpreted as an anti-Russian colour revolution? Why is the situation in Belarus crucial for the security in the Baltic Sea Region? And what are the possible future scenarios? One of Denmark’s leading researchers on Ukraine and Belarus, with a personal Belarus background, Ph.D. Lizaveta Dubinka-Hushcha, offers her perspectives on the situation.
