Belarus and the Russian connection
The unrest in Belarus in the wake of the controversial presidential election in 2020 is still an issue in international politics. In this public seminar, two leading experts on the topic present their analysis of the situation.
Lizaveta Dubinka (Copenhagen Business School), born in Belarus, provides an update on the situation and results from a recent report on Nordic-Baltic reactions to the crisis.
Arkady Moshes (Finnish Institute of International Affairs) presents an analysis of the intricate Russia-Belarus relationship, very little understood in the West. Is Lukashenko now in Putin’s pocket? This will be followed by a Q&A, in which questions from the auditorium can address the presentations and the perspectives for the future.
