DIIS researcher Sine Plambech appointed as Fellow at Yale

Senior Researcher at DIIS Sine Plambech is appointed as Fellow at Yale University for the academic year 2019/2020. Sine Plambech will join the Departments of Ethnicity, Race, and Migration & Women, Gender, and Sexuality.

While at Yale Sine Plambech will work to strengthen collaboration between DIIS and Yale University through research networks focusing on border and migration policies in the European and US context. Plambech is invited to Yale to lecture, screen her films and conduct her research, in particular on the urgent issue of global migration in relation to women as refugees and migrants.

The fellowship is part of DIIS’ commitment to international collaborations across institutions which involves actively seeking new high-level partners, such as Yale University, for future exchange and research projects.

The fellowship for Sine Plambech is generously funded through the Independent Research Fund Denmark (IRFD) Sapere Aude Grant.
