CCRI at the ZAWAFE 2013 conference in Zambia
Carol Mweemba and Imasiku Nyambe present preliminary findings from the Zambian fieldwork
Preliminary findings from the ongoing fieldwork in the Zambian CCRI component were recently presented at the Third International Water Forum and Exhibiton (ZAWAFE)in Lusaka.
The presentation was made by PhD researcher Carol Mweemba and Prof. Imasiku Nyambe from the CCRI Team in Zambia. The presentation highlighted the work of district institutions as they seek to support farmers and fishermen in climate change adaptation in Kazungula and Sesheke Districts.
The conference was held on 4-5 November and included participants from the wider Southern Africa region. Prof. Imasiku Nyambe and the University of Zambia play a key role in organising this annualconference.
