Truth and reconciliation in Norway amidst a crisis of trust

At a hearing on March 6 the Norwegian Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) was directly caught in the middle of a crisis between the state and Indigenous peoples and national minorities. A week before intense protests by the Sami people took place in Oslo over a windfarms project in a Sami reindeer herding area. And it is expected that the June final report of the TRC will make tough recommendations on how to solve the crisis of trust.
