Gender & (in)security
Gender hierarchies permeate global politics. How security and insecurity are distributed, accessed or denied is thus defined by gender. In fall 2020, DIIS continues its series of public seminars on gender and (in)security to discuss both the production of gendered insecurities and how gender is mobilized over a wide range of core political issues of peace, political extremism, migration, surveillance and mobilization for change.
