Trine Rosengren Pejstrup works broadly in the field of defense and security policy, international relations, and technological development. Specifically, she is interested in the sociopolitical implications of the development and use of defense technologies, as well as the impact of the arms industry and international arms trade on gender and power relations.

Current research

As a research assistant affiliated with DIIS Tech, Trine has contributed to discussions on the political and democratic implications of defense technologies, the Danish defense industry, and Denmark's role in outer space. She draws on knowledge from her bachelor's thesis on the UN First Committee's work on outer space security, her master's thesis on the Danish defense industry, as well as her established network in the multilateral disarmament and arms control sphere, gained through her time at the UN Secretariat.
