More than thirty years after the end of the Cold War, the Russian invasion of Ukraine marks an end to the post-Cold War period. As the war continues to unfold, there is a growing consciousness that we are entering a new era. How can we understand this new situation?

This seminar will provide background knowledge and insights drawn from research to look at larger implications and global dynamics. Speakers will highlight topics of security – defense, energy, and nuclear scenarios, refugees, great power dynamics, and political ideologies.

The seminar is in English and will be followed by another seminar in Danish where Flemming Splidsboel Hansen will unfold the background and consequences of the war.
