Evidence of implications from Uganda

On November 30, 2023, Michael B. Byaruhanga successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis, entitled “Effects of Agricultural Investments on Land-use Land Cover Change, Access to Water and Adoption of Soil and Water Conservation Practices in Uganda” at a public defense held at Makerere University, Kampala (http://makir.mak.ac.ug/handle/10570/12989). The PhD research has been undertaken as part of the Agricultural Investors as Development Actors? (AIDA) programme (www.diis.dk/aida), funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark through the Consultative Research Committee for Development Research, and coordinated by the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS).
