The Audacity of Green Growth

New commentary on the EU's green growth agenda in European Voice and Berlingske

Senior researcher Fabrizio Tassinari co-authored an article with Sony Kapoor, the Managing Director of the think-tank Re-Define in Brussels. Tassinari and Kapoor argue that the Danish experience since COP 15 in 2009 suggests that The very notion of 'green growth' heralds a more pragmatic narrative that is less about starry-eyed environmentalism and more about enlightened self-interest.
Denmark, now holding the rotating EU presidency, can therefore push austerity Europe in the direction of green growth.

The article was published in the European magazine European Voice while another version appeared in the DIIS blog on Berlingske.
