From Warsaw to Copenhagen - Denmark takes on the EU Eastern partnership

Up to the incoming Danish EU Presidency to bring forward the EU Eastern Partnership

When Denmark assumes the EU presidency 1 January 2012 it will be up to Denmark in close cooperation with the EU Commission and the eastern partners to bring the EU Eastern Partnership forward. Denmark together with the Commission will play an important role to ensure the implementation of a road map of actions an provide political attention and impetus to the process. In his article "From Warsaw to Copenhagen" Senior Analyst Peter Munk Jensen evaluates achievements and failures of the first two years of the Eastern Partnership and looks at the challenges and tasks ahead of the Partnership when it moves from “Warsaw to Copenhagen".
