Europe's Nobel Project

Fabrizio Tassinari speaks in Berlin and appears in a new Project Syndicate collection

Following last week's surprise announcement of the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to the European Union, Fabrizio Tassinari delivered public remarks by invitation in Berlin and his writings appeared in a new collection of short articles.

In Berlin, he first delivered a lecture, on October 18th, at the Hertie School of Governance. On October 19th, he represented the European side in a debate on the US Presidential election with Xenia Dormandy a former member of the U.S. National Security Council and currently a senior fellow at Chatham House in London. The debate was organized under the auspices of the German Marshall Fund of the United States for the Young Transatlantic Network.

Lastly, Tassinari's commentary, “The Unravelling of Europe's Peace”, appeared in a new Focal Point collection of articles on the topic of European peace. The collection was assembled by Project Syndicate, the New York-based service of newspapers syndication.
