DIIS at Munich Security Conference
DIIS Senior Researcher Trine Flockhart participates in the highly prestigious Munich Security Conference this weekend

The conference takes place at a crucial time when Europe's security is challenged both on its eastern flank from Russia's aggression against Ukraine and on its southern flank from Islamic State.
Around 400 invited participants - including many heads of state and government - will discuss the theme 'Collapsing Order - Reluctant Guardians'. It is expected that Angela Merkel will attend the conference immediately after her return from Moscow, where she and President Hollande are attempting to broker a peace in Ukraine.
