DIIS joins global climate change alliance

DIIS has joined the new Adaptation Research Alliance (ARA), a global network for action-oriented climate knowledge that was officially launched at COP 26 in Glasgow.

The alliance connects researchers, policy-makers, practitioners and communities across the Global South and Global North, aiming to support action-oriented research that strengthens adaptation policy and outcomes.

ARA has a strong South-driven emphasis and focuses on adaptation research based on the real-world challenges and initiatives of local communities and stakeholders.

DIIS is excited to join this cutting-edge research network which offers opportunities for bridging North/South gaps in the sharing, application and production of adaptation research.
