Ole Winckler Andersen’s research is focused on development finance. He is interested in the interaction between public and private development finance, the use of different finance instruments and the evaluation of different forms of development finance.

Current research

Ole Winckler Andersen is currently working on methods to be applied in blended finance evaluation. Does blending of finance lead to additional private investments? The analytical work is conducted as part of a working group under OECD’s Evaluation Network. He is also engaged in a study on the possibilities of a more active use of development assistance in the promotion of renewable energy in African countries.
