A couple of months have passed since NATO's Madrid summit and the adoption of the Alliance's new strategic concept. It is about time to take stock of what the strategic concepts means in practice and how it is being implemented.

In its new strategic concept, NATO addresses the fundamental changes in the Euro-Atlantic security environment caused by the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, strategic competitors, emerging and disruptive technology, and malicious hybrid tactics, while the threat of terrorism and instability continue to affect the security of NATO allies and partners.

Bringing together internationally renown NATO experts, this panel debate asks how NATO's 2022 strategic concept will be implemented in practice. What will NATO’s 360-degree approach require from its allies and partners? How will these requirements be met; what is necessary? What are the Alliance’s and concept's strengths in today's complex security environment; what are weaknesses and potential points of conflict?
