World Water Week gets underway

DIIS and partners host special event at World Water Week in Stockholm


More than 2.000 decision-makers, practitioners and researchers from across the globe are currently converging in Stockholm for the World Water Week.


DIIS researchers will be hosting a special side event on local water conflict and cooperation together with partners from Bolivia, Mali, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Zambia, South Africa and Denmark.


The event will present some of the emerging findings from the “Competing for Water" research programme, which has mapped and studied the nature and extent of local water conflict and cooperation in selected countries in the South.
