Putin’s Foreign and Security Policy

Aside from his political career as a member of the ruling body of the Russian Democratic Yabloko Party, Dr. Piontkovsky has since 1991 occupied the position as Executive Director of the Strategic Studies Center World Laboratory.
A mathematician by profession, Dr. Piontkovsky has had a long and distinguished career as a Senior Researcher at the Soviet Academy of Sciences and the World Laboratory, working with issues of Russian policy and strategic studies.
Since 1991, Dr. Piontkovsky has been a frequent contributor to the media, including the BBC World Service in London, and the Radio Liberty in Moscow. Moreover, Dr. Piontkovsky is a columnist for the two Russian Journals Moscow Times and Novaya Gazeta.

The seminar will be held in English.
