Robin May Schott starts as Senior Researcher at DIISDIIS welcomes new research colleague in Holocaust and genocideRobin May Schott begins May 1, 2009 as Senior Researcher at DIIS (Holocaust and genocide). Schott has her Ph.D. in Philosophy from Yale University (1983), and is a long-time resident of Denmark. She has worked extensively in the fields of post-Holocaust studies and feminist philosophy, and has focused particularly on issues related to gender, war, and genocide. She is currently also Research Professor at the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, where she collaborates on the research project, “Exploring Bullying in Schools”, funded by TrygFonden. She is author, among other books, of Discovering Feminist Philosophy (Rowman and Littlefield, 2003)/ Feministisk Filosofi (Gyldendal, 2004). |
