Immigration, Security and the politics of Risk in the EU. This project examines the securitisation of immigration in the EU and explores its political implications.

Terrorism and Catastrophe (with Claudia Aradau). This project asks what it means to govern terrorism through risk and which impact images of catastrophic futures have upon present-day society
