New research programme

DIIS is awarded DKK 1.8 million under a new research programme financed by the EU's FP7


The ‘Trade and Development’ research group has been awarded €240,000 (approx. DKK 1.8 million) under a collaborative research programme entitled ‘Sustaining Ethical Aquaculture Trade’ (SEAT). SEAT is a large FP7 programme coordinated by the University of Stirling.

Within the programme, Stefano Ponte [link: www.diis.dk/spo] and a PhD student (to be recruited) will analyze the global value chains of selected aquaculture products linking South/South-East Asia and Europe.
