Benjamin will mainly work on land issues related to the so-called Original Communal Territories (TCOs) in Bolivia, in a cultural, political, economic and environmental perspective. |

| Among his special interests are: Agricultural development; Land tenure and its re-distribution; Land rights; Indigenous social groups and their socio-cultural interaction with the different multi-stakeholders at regional, local and national level. He has a profound interest in the importance of developing the rural livelihood in order to alleviate poverty and reduce hunger of the rural population and increase the democratic participation of the different rural social groups through the recognition and implementation of their rights. |
