The library has set up two gateways to literature in cooperation with DIIS research departments.
Department of Genocide and Holocaust Studies The gateway provides access to literature from Holocaust & Genocide unit's library, which includes the valuable collections of the late professor dr. Eric Markusen who is internationally recognized as one of the pioneers of this field of research. The unit works with issues such as prosecutions, memory and reconciliation in the aftermath of the Holocaust and other cases of genocide. Radicalization, Terrorism and the European Response Established in collaboration with the DIIS research unit Political violence, terrorism, and radicalization. The unit has a focus on radicalization and polarization in European societies, national and international countermeasures and the effects on societal cohesion and civil rights. The gateway's scope is broader. It includes literature on all societal factors and aspects worldwide that may help to understand terrorism.
The gateway has been set up with financial support from Knud Højgaards Fond and from OTICON Fonden. |
