About EU 2012 – crisis and renewal
DIIS brings the Danish EU presidency into focus with activities that aim at informing and engaging the broad Danish public on the Presidency, but also more generally on the EU and Europe’s role in the world.
We engage in public debate in the media and arrange a series of events open to the public: - Debate and analysis
In a newly launched partnership with the daily BerlingskeTidende, some twenty DIIS researchers will contribute to a weekly blog and biweekly newspaper columns (in Danish). You may follow the debate and analysis on the Danish EU Presidency, EU and Europe directly on EU Eksperterne at berlingske.dk or here at EU 2012 – crisis and renewal where also other relevant in-depth analysis will be published.
- Seminars
DIIS launches a seminar series highlighting the most important policy areas on the EU agenda during the Danish Presidency. The seminars will focus on green growth, reforms of the CAP, EU budget negotiations, austerity measures in the Eurozone periphery etc. Follow information about upcoming seminars here at EU 2012 – crisis and renewal.
The seminars are supported by Europa-Nævnet and will be accompanied by DIIS Policy Briefs with perspectives and analyses of the different policy issues. |
