The Competing for Water Nicaragua research team was invited by the School of Science, Technology and Environment, Universidad Centro Americana (UCA) to jointly organise a 40 hours course entitled “Water Management in Nicaragua.” This course trained 12 practitioners working in the public as well as the private sector at national and local levels. The course was based on the national overview of the political, legal and administrative context for water governance in Nicaragua published in 2007.
