Luke Patey
Primære forskningsområder
Luke Pateys nuværende forskning fokuserer på Kinas udenrigs- og sikkerhedspolitik samt Kinas udenlandske investeringer og handel. Han har særlig fokus på Kinas relationer i Europa, Afrika og Østasien.
Patey er forfatter til "How China Loses: The Pushback Against Chinese Global Ambitions" (Oxford University Press USA, 2021) og "The New Kings of Crude: China, India, and the Global Struggle for Oil in Sudan and South Sudan" (Hurst, 2014). Hans tekster er blevet trykt i The New York Times, Financial Times, Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs, The Guardian og The Hindu.
Patey har været gæsteforsker ved United Nations University (Tokyo), Social Science Research Council (New York), Peking University (Beijing) og Centre d'études et de recherches internationals (Paris). Patey har en BSc (Hons.) i handel fra Queen's University (Kingston, Canada) og en cand.scient.- samt en ph.d.-grad fra Copenhagen Business School.
